Pune: Two girls drown in Khadakwasla dam, 7 others rescued
According to police, the girls were playing in the water when they were swept away by the current. Seven of the girls were rescued by locals and fire brigade personnel, but two of them could not be saved. The deceased girls have been identified as Khushi Sanjay Khurde (12) and Sheetal Bhagwan Titore (15).
The police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter.
