Pune, May 4th, 2023: Pune district is set to experience moderate to light rainfall along with gusty winds in the next few days, as per the yellow alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday. The alert cautions the residents of the district to be prepared for windy conditions, with wind speeds of 30 to 40 km per hour.
The IMD has attributed the weather conditions to a low-pressure area that has formed over the Bay of Bengal. The district has already witnessed rainy and windy weather in the past few days, leading to a drop in temperatures during the day.

The authorities have urged the residents of the district to take necessary precautions during this period and stay indoors as much as possible. The traffic police have also issued an advisory to motorists to drive carefully on the roads, as the gusty winds may affect visibility and control.
