IAF Provides Update on Poonch Attack
New Delhi, India – The Indian Air Force (IAF) released an update regarding the terrorist attack on an IAF vehicle in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, the IAF confirmed that during the ensuing gunfight with terrorists, the Air Warriors bravely returned fire. Tragically, five IAF personnel sustained bullet injuries and were promptly evacuated to the nearest military hospital for urgent medical care. The statement further confirmed that one Air Warrior succumbed to their injuries.

Local security forces are currently conducting further operations in the area.
The IAF expressed their deepest condolences to the family of the fallen soldier and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured personnel.
