According to sources, Mr. Gupta had received a call from an unknown person who claimed to be a representative of a popular Bitcoin trading platform. The fraudster had convinced Mr. Gupta to invest his money in the Bitcoin market by promising him a guaranteed return of 10% per month. The victim, who was initially hesitant, was eventually persuaded to invest his money in the hope of making a quick profit.
However, after making the investment, Mr. Gupta was shocked to find that he had been duped by the scammers. Despite repeated attempts to contact the fraudsters, he was unable to get his money back. As more and more people turn to online platforms for their financial transactions, it is important for individuals to be cautious and vigilant when dealing with unknown entities or making investments in unverified schemes.
The police have issued a warning to the public to be wary of such fraudsters who lure people into investing their hard-earned money with promises of high returns. They have urged people to exercise caution and to verify the credentials of any investment scheme before parting with their money.
