The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a recruitment notification for 62 Trade Apprentice, Technician Apprentice & Other Posts. The vacancies are available at the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam.
The eligible candidates can apply online through the DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in) from 26 May 2023 to 16 June 2023.
The following are the details of the vacancies:
- Trade Apprentice: 20 posts
- Technician Apprentice: 20 posts
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 22 posts
- Stenographer: 2 posts
- Computer Operator: 2 posts
The educational qualifications and age requirements for the various posts are as follows:
- Trade Apprentice: ITI Diploma in relevant trade
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 10th pass
- Stenographer: 12th pass with 3 years diploma in Stenography
- Computer Operator: 12th pass with computer knowledge
The selected candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs. 8,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- per month. The duration of the apprenticeship training will be 1 year.
The selection process will involve a written test, trade test (for Trade Apprentice posts) and personal interview.
