Pune Fire: Three killed in massive fire at Wagholi

A massive fire broke out in a godown in the Wagholi area of Pune, resulting in the death of three people. The fire department and eight fire engines from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) rushed to the spot. The fire brigade has managed to control the blaze.

The tragic incident occurred in the wee hours of the night around 11:45 pm when the godown caught fire suddenly. The godown was a hall where around 400 cylinders were stored, and the massive explosion caused by the blast led to the death of three workers. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.

After receiving the news, the fire department reached the spot and battled the fire for nearly four hours before finally bringing it under control. During the rescue operation, the fire brigade found the dead bodies of the three workers who were trapped inside the godown. The deceased were identified as workers who were working at the godown at the time of the incident.

The incident has caused widespread grief among the families of the deceased. The police have started an investigation into the matter to ascertain the cause of the fire.
