Pune, May 21: Two people were killed and three others were injured in a bus accident in Pune on Tuesday. The accident took place on NIBM Undri Road in the Kondhwa area of the city.
The bus was heading towards NIBM from Undri when it suddenly lost control and hit a rickshaw, a tempo, two cars, a two-wheeler and a four-wheeler. The impact of the collision was so severe that the bus overturned.
Two people, who were riding the rickshaw, died on the spot. The three injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
Cause of accident under investigation

The bus was carrying around 50 passengers at the time of the accident. Most of the passengers escaped with minor injuries.
